This landed super well today. As a Yorkshire person, straight talking is my root culture, and this piece shouts to me on multiple levels. If anyone vibes with this, it will prove that so many of us are sick of the BS, lack of action and constant lies. Thanks Tim - we're all works in progress and this is a timely reminder to keep working at it.
Taking responsibility for everything that happens to you. No matter what... What I've come to realize is that if you say "I can't do XYZ because..." it's the same thing as saying "I'm powerless. This other thing has power over me, I cannot control my own life." --- That's not a good way to live
On an unrelated note, I open about 100% of all emails I receive from you. I've been thinking about that a lot, what makes your writing so persuasive and enjoyable. You've certainly hit on something...
Never heard of Tom, but he sounds on point. "It's all my fault" = I am in control of my life and can make change if I'm not getting the results I want.
Thanks Tim, I’ve not much interest in making a million but your suggestions are a help in what I do want to achieve this year. TikTok is a funny one, my 10 year old boy keeps coming out with lots of interesting information that he finds on TT. Might be of some use I guess,
Thanks for an excellent article Tim and just as importantly for making me laugh especially with the phone pinging the brain to death.... Wonderful analogy 😆
I am a physical therapist who has nothing to do with online writing except to enjoy and admire other's work but all of these points resonate with me, especially the "victim bit"..... I stopped this in my thirties in the middle of a bad divorce when a close friend said very clearly "no victim s*** please". I was very angry, went home, thought and knew he was right. I have never looked back😊
So direct and spot on. I played the victim card a lot last year without even realising. Took me some embarrassing situation to understand that nobody gives a fuck. I'm gonna go all in this year, all in!

We all get to that point Alison. Hope this article pushes a few people over.
Enjoyed. Love how your style is getting more direct and ‘in the face’. Cheers
Cheers Mike.
Funny thing is I quite liked Atomic Habits, the book. But as you say reading without taking action is waste of time.
I am finding all the writing and talk about dopamine interesting re habits and motivation etc. Might be old news. Cheers
#3 on your list reminds me of an article I wrote describing the philosophy I live by of radical responsibility.

The fact you open my emails means a lot. Love how you explained powerless people.
Yeh. “it’s all my fault”. A saying a like from Tom Bilyeu. I like his work, not sure if anyone else is this group does. Cheers.
Tom is a legend Mike. Take responsibility for sure.

He is worth looking up. Sold a business for a billion that made nutrition bars. Now started Impact Theory. Huge following.
A must-follow
Stellar Delivery !!! Heading to feast on these nuggets and shout out 2023. Watch me world while I work from the Denning manefisto.
Haha go get em tiger

Each to their own Rodney. You do you.
This is so good... “Screw you. This is exactly what you need. I’m not taking no for an answer. Look at the results I’ve produced for people like you."
I should have said that 1,000 times last year. I'm going to start using that today.
Do it Vic!
Brilliant! Simply brilliant!
Cheers Susanne

Alison with all due respect divorce is nasty so I don't blame you for a bit of the victim stuff.
Thanks. Great writting. I will implement it just now
Cheers Marc

They sure don't Chris. Take back your power. You're suppose to lose sometimes. Don't let that become your story.
Amen, Tim.
Much love Madden
Yes and yes. 2021 and 2022 sucked - big time but man did they provide clarity. I now have a very specific list of what I give any attention to now
