Great piece - thank you! Made me realize I’ve been skipping lines for years and didn’t even realize, haha…. Also, makes me want to give a big “f*ck you” to my LinkedIn premium account.
Amazing. You got me with the storytelling of how you and your friends waited in line for hours to get into the club and later realized that you were played. This story fully explained the whole skipping the line process. And you didn't just shared a story to drive home your point, you explained how skipping the line looks like in this metaverse dispensation.
I'm on my journey of skipping the line because I hate to seek permission from gatekeepers. I'm a trained broadcaster that tried getting into radio... and instead of me waiting in line, I skipped the line by creating my own podcast—the High Agency Architecture—exclusively on Substack where there are no gatekeepers.
Most people overrely on formal education, environment, connections, privilege, luck, and right timing. If you are waiting for all these things to come in your life. Then, I am sorry to say this — You’re going to die without even making a dent on the world.
Instead, take this challenge.
If we think that studying hard, hard work, discipline and consistency is all it needs. Then everyone would have the brain of Leonardo da Vinci, body of Arnold Schwarzenegger, and wealth of Warren Buffett. But alas, most people are living a scripted rat race mediocre life without even exploring the hidden untapped potential of their brain, body, and soul.
The humanity-changing war against global economic-productivity machine, mediocrity, scripted rat race, status quo, and corruption.
So, get ready to go on a war. A war? Yes, a war against global economic-productivity machine, mediocrity, scripted rat race, status quo, and corruption.
How?
First of all, stop relying on luck, talent, lottery thinking, connections, permissions, and external validations.
In order to achieve all these grand things, lets work on all the skills that we actually need in life.
1) Ability to self-educate, self-experiment, and expand yourself at anything like a polymath by using the internet
2) Extreme focus
3) Continuous flow state of mind
4) Confidence
5) Thinking of risks like a child’s toy while failures don’t shake your brain and heart
6) Courage
7) Craziness
8) Not settling with being normal and embrace being unique and weird
9) Delusional Optimism
10) Perseverance
11) Urgency
Dare yourself to live life to the fullest by having the curiosity and the inner desire to explore, unleash, and surpass the hidden untapped potential of our brain, body, and soul while being permissionless with the help of the internet especially shadow libraries (Anna’s Archive and Library Genesis) to become a great self-taught polymath, a deep philosopher, a freakish athlete, a visionary leader, a social activist, and extremely wealthy in life; to the point of evolving ourselves into a self-taught superhuman polymath, push the limits of reality and humanity at a crazy unrealistic pace, and start a revolution of global modern Renaissance era.
I've only read maybe three of your articles, but they are genuinely top stories that I enjoy, inspired, educated, and most importantly, get to the end of. Thanks. 🌿
Oof, loved this one, Tim. "I never forgot what happened at that nightclub. It taught me you can settle for the general admission line in life, or you can find a way to skip the line altogether."
General admission in today's day is too costly or almost impossible (as someone applying to jobs with 10+ year qualified resume). It's almost as if you have a better chance trying to come in through the side versus the main door. I also believe in the saying... if you're not getting invited to the table, create your own dinner party.
Writing doesn't let you skip the line. It makes you identifiable to the people who can pull you out of it. The distinction matters more than it looks: one is a volume game, the other is a clarity game. The operators I've seen build fastest didn't post more ....they got VERRRY specific about exactly what problem they solve, for exactly what type of organization, at exactly what stage. Specificity is the mechanism. Writing is just how you transmit it at scale.
High-agency is a game changer and I struggle with skipping the line.
I was trained to be the well-behaved girl doing what the grown-ups told me to do. It's hard to get out of this mindset and even seeing the ways how to skip the line.
But you Tim make me question decisions and my actions, so that's the first step 💯
Tim - Back in the early 70's, my best friend was starting to date a gorgeous young lady who was becoming a local TV celebrity in Los Angeles. Wanting to impress her, he took her to a well-known steak house for a date, but didn't have reservations. Since they were not yet 21, they couldn't wait in the bar, but had to sit in the lobby. After waiting for about 20 minutes, this stunning young lady suddenly stood up, gave out a loud wolf whistle and loudly asked the question: "Who do I have to fvck to get a table?" After a stunned silence, they were quickly shown to a table (still being cleared) way in the back of the restaurant. They were then quickly served, and nearly pushed out (without dessert). My friend soon broke up with this young lady telling me: "She always embarrasses the shxt out of me." At least she knew how to get a table quickly.
The front door vs back door distinction sounds simple but most people never internalize it. Information about skipping lines is everywhere. The execution gap is everything. High agency isn't born — it's forged through repetition and a willingness to look stupid while you figure it out. — David Lozovsky, Alchemist of Life
This inspiring article made me appreciate myself without realizing that I had never passed through the front door, not because I knew the importance, but because I could not stand their idiotic appearance and their zeal in addiction. It seemed to me that I would lose something of myself, no gain from them would fill me!
My destiny, not from wisdom or experience, were new fields in my country isolated for decades, but only from the yearning desire to change things, like stagnant water that is no longer drinkable.
Even though I was invited to the prominent row, I skipped all the meetings with stale slogans and started telling the painful story of my generation and gained mental and emotional strength!
I bless my family that taught me to be sensitive and contribute unconditionally!
P.S.
I went from 5k to 300k followers on Instagram in 6 months.
No cheating.
No pods.
No ads.
That speed of growth might not be possible on any other platform in 2026.
To celebrate, I’ve launched a new workshop showing exactly how I did it: How to Win on Instagram.
Seats will be limited.

Entire time I was reading this, I was thinking: How will I skip the line? Now Tim provided a solution: Write and network on social media. Will do.
Hell yeah Denis. You're already doing it. Got any stories of it?
Feeling stupid a few times but at the same time, understanding investing better :)

Yeah, I was thinking about that too, and Tim gave us some mad tips.

Glad you liked it. Do you skip the line yourself?

Oh, this one was really, really good
Glad you think so Julia. Do you have any skip the line stories?

You have to be bold and ask.

I need to publish more on Substack!
