We’re surrounded by scams.
We sweep them under the carpet out of fear we might upset one of the human sheep following the flock to nowhere. We let lies permeate when they should be stopped.
In a recent Twitter poll, these things got revealed as the biggest scams.
Victim mentality
In modern society it’s cool to be a victim. In fact, it’s encouraged.
We all qualify to be victims. Don’t worry, I’m not immune. I was the victim of a nasty firing in 2019 due to a madman. I cop plenty of racial abuse for choosing to marry an asian woman too.
And not long ago I went to apply for a home loan. The bank said my online business wasn’t a proper income. They made me feel like sh*t. They discriminated against me for how I earn a living.
I had two choices:
Become a victim.
Defy the odds
I smiled as I walked out of the bank. I’m not going to get upset or play the victim card. Nope. I’m going to make so much f*cking money that I don’t need their stupid debt.
See, you can practice helplessness or just get on with the freaking show.
You will get bullied. You will get discriminated against.
The question is: watcha gonna do about it?
Victim mentality is a scam because it doesn’t solve anything. If we’re all victims then there’s no difference between our situations. We end up just sitting around and waiting for charitable help, while feeling sorry for ourselves.
Stack the odds in your favor. Turn unfair consequences into good luck.
Eating stupid amounts of meat
Forget about veganism and keeping animals alive for a minute. All that is a sideshow.
The simple fact is raising animals to be eaten can’t last forever – unless YOLO Elon Musk gets us to Mars real fast.
At this rate of population growth and meat consumption we’ll run out of land. And the biggest contributor to screwing up the environment is meat production.
We either stop eating the poor porky pigs, or we run out of land. That’s a scam most people are missing.
Political games run by grandpas
Politics is a big game of nothing.
Politicians are actors that pretend to serve you. They don’t serve the people. Nope. They serve the businesses that fund their political campaigns.
As they say: follow the money.
Also, notice how the vast majority of politicians are grandpas.
Very little diversity. All close to a hundred years old. All out-dated. All afraid of change. All out of touch with technology. Mostly all male.
Oh, and don’t forget to look up their net worth, particularly the American ones. They’re all rich AF. I could sit around and debate nothing, too, if I had a wad of cash in my back pocket and never had to think about money again.
If you follow every bit of political news you’re wasting your life.
Politicians ain’t going to make your life better or save your family from the upcoming recession. They’re actors in penguin suits who love to feel important.
The enormous burden of college
College is a massive scam.
The profit margins are huge. Most of the learning can be delivered at 1/20th of the cost online.
Kahn academy proved it. So did Teachable. So did Masterclass, where you can learn from actual experts such as Alicia Keys, Samuel L Jackson, and Neil Degrasse Tyson. Unless you want to be a doctor, engineer or lawyer you don’t need college.
The biggest problem with college is it starts you off in life with a huge amount of debt.
You pay 6-figures for a piece of paper that these days will be lucky to get you a job interview. There’s no differentiation. All the sheep are walking around looking for jobs with the same piece of worthless paper.
The money wasted on college is better off being spent on life experiences, online businesses, online learning, and mini-experiments.
Working 40 hours a week for 40+ years
After college this is the scam we get sold.
The minimum is a 40-hour week. The maximum is uncapped. Many of us work a lot more than 40 hours – and we work on weekends too!
Then for 4 weeks a year we get holidays. We’re so exhausted from working hard that we barely get to enjoy them.
Over the course of our careers this one month of annual holidays adds up to roughly 3 years off. Then we hit retirement.
By then the best of our bodies is gone. Wrinkles, baldness and grey/white hair have set in. Our energy levels are nowhere near what they used to be either.
If you’re a man, your balls drop further and shrivel up like a rotten apple. If you’re a woman, according to my retired aunty, your tits sag down to your ass and menopause sets in.
Your overworked body gets a few short years before you’re shipped off to the funeral parlor to get buried in a wooden box.
How is this living?
It’s not. It’s a scam we opt into if we don’t question reality.
Modern medicine
The answer for most health problems is to take a drug.
The fact the food we eat and the lifestyles we live are the cause is mainly forgotten. Most doctors get zero training in diet and nutrition.
So they give sick people more drugs that fix one problem and create another.
There’s no money in disease prevention. The money is in people becoming sicker so they’re reliant on the business of drugs and hospitals.
The best medicine is to look after yourself.
Don’t eat all the crap society does. Stay clear of alcohol that poisons your insides. And don’t consume party drugs to make reality feel easier to handle.
Expensive piss aka diet pills
Diet pills are a huge waste of money. All they are is expensive urine because you piss most of the so-called nutrients out after you take them.
The body needs natural vitamins and minerals from real food. Not fake-ass nutrition made in a factory full of chemicals.
If you buy diet pills then stop.
Eat healthy. It’s cheaper and better amigo.
The global financial system
This scam is something I could write about for the next 10 years.
Most have no clue how it works.
In 2020 we had a global health crisis that locked us in our homes. After a tiny recession the markets roared ahead again.
This isn’t an accident.
America, for example, created 40% of all US dollars in existence out of thin air.
The Federal Reserve (central bank) hit a few keys on a keyboard and more money appeared in their account. Then they firehosed this money all over the American people, drenching them in sweet, sweet dollars.
The rich put the easy money into assets. The poor with no assets used the money to live. As the price of everything increased, inflation hit record-highs. All this did was increase the gap between the rich and poor - but it did save the economy from a deep global recession.
Two years later the economy is in shambles. The price of all assets is plummeting. Why?
The central banks stopped creating money out of nowhere. And they started raising interest rates up from 0%.
The entire system is a joke when you look under the hood. People think the price of their home went up when in actual fact the prices of everything are distorted thanks to 1) Inflation 2) Governments creating money out of thin air.
Who knows what happens from here.
Just know the value of your money/assets isn’t what you think it is (by design).

You've said it all mate. 99% of us are sheep. That's how were brought up and brain-washed by the system to spend our money on things we don't really need and spend time on escapism through TV and 'smart' phones
Couldn’t agree with you more my friend.
