A few hours of DEEP WORK will set me up as an efficient being. Quite strange but I have written a message for myself that I see every day whenever I'm on the laptop- "I want to put in minimum working hours and attain maximum returns"

It seems like an excellent combination to me; 4 hours of deep work can take you a long way without burning your brains out.

I do depend on your words to figure out my life Tim, thank you :) Flow state is the best feeling of all time, no matter if it's work, a good book, a solid workout... whatever!

I assume your target audience is not working women, married or single, trying to write with children who have absolutely no concept of giving their mother uninterrupted time, not to mention her having to do most of the housework. Some women have managed it, famously, but this sounds like a luxury men can take for granted. Also, by nature women multitask more easily than men. Focusing on one task is beneficial, but the brain can do more.

Good article but, how is the idea of 5 Am stupid?

There are other things you need to channel apart from just work; and by waking up early you get to start freshly when it's still quiet and peaceful.

Excellent article, Tim! Thank you for cutting out the BS and encapsulating the what's, why's and how's of being productive. Keep doing what you do and you will inspire me to be a better version of myself too.
