Tim, it dawned on me when reading this article, how your words have such a massive impact. You are like the Tyson Furey of article writing. You keep hitting us with persistent, painful body blows that keep hitting their mark until such time as I think, hey, I need to change stance here or this is gonna hurt bad. Whether I remember each blow doesn't matter, but I know when I turn away, I can still feel the impact. I will still remember the lesson I just had, and you know what, next time I step in that ring, it might be different. I might win, I might have a better moment, so I go again, waiting eagely for that next punishing lesson that makes me a better person.
I love this newsletter. I can't say enough good about it, It's totally outside of my daily routine, yet it is a routine nonetheless. Keep it up Tim. Happy Christmas.
I loved the Fight Club. You either show your balls or be a wimp for life. My old man used to beat me for nothing and psychologically abused me. Then one day, he pushed the dinner table into me when I wanted another piece of cake and I was 16. I pushed the table back into him and he fell over onto the floor. He chased me and I tild him come get me. He never fu--ed with me again.
A brilliant article, Tim. Thanks for making me re-think the way I tackle some issues in my life. It hit home. Wishing you a wonderful first Christmas with your wife and baby daughter and a healthy and peaceful (Tim style!) New Year. Rosy
again one more sixer ...simply great...yes, somes paths are not so open but a lot many paths are still wide open for us and we can live forever by creating some valuables...

Yep. Tim. I have learned never to put up with shit else you will always wonder why you get shit on again and again. Even if you get beat up in a fight, your opponent will respect you.
I watched Glass Onion last night, which Edward Norton plays a great role in. Your mention of Fight Club reminded me how great he was in that movie and also what a great movie that is. Being a conformist has never appealed to me, although at certain points in my life, I have found, it necessary to do so. It has never lasted because I have found my peace in doing other things than trying to keep up with the Joneses. No question it has been a more difficult track but for me more fulfilling. An old girlfriend told me one time there’s a lot to be said for a 9 to 5 in a paycheck. I could never reconcile that within myself. The highs are higher, and the lows are lower and the challenge is greater but the fulfillment is unparalleled.
I love your articles Tim and I always put a star next to every one which has had an impact on me, but it turns out to be just about nearly every single article you've ever written! Although I do really love, love this one in particular. I was going to say 'especially bullet point numbers 1, 2, 3...etc.,' except it's all bloody 18 points. Just amazing. My father in law did work on Nuclear Fusion fyi so number 2 is beaut! Your mission to keep finding ways to inspire others - it's working! You inspire me every day. Thank you so much! And I love the honesty and statement about the houses bought with debt which killed the American Dream (and the Australian and the New Zealand dream, etc!). That is so accurate. Thank you.
My wife was having pain and issues getting our first daughter to latch during breast feeding. Minutes after getting daughters tongue tie snipped with scissors, she latched successfully, and breast feeding was a huge success.
All of our 3 kids have had it, with similar before and after success in breast feeding.
If your daughter is bottle fed, probably no big deal. But if your wife is having issues feeding, here is at least one data point that the procedure is definitely worth it.
Tim, I love this. Every word. I think this would look good as a small book that you can carry with yourself as a reminder. I love how you found your goals and I agree family comes first. I always jump at the opportunity to be with family and friends and have an adventure with them. "Stuff" does not matter learned that when my house burned down. My family and doing things I enjoy matters. I hope one day i can be where you are now. Just spend time exploring and writing and make a living from it. You are inspirational. Thank you Tim.

Yes. Love that you saved the best one for last, Tim. And I would add ".....and makes the world a better place for future generations."
Yep, agree Catherine.

Enjoy every moment - it passes in a flash. My ‘little’ girl is 34. She is my best friend.

Love how you said that Ed

As always thanks for sharing your wisdom. Peace.
Dude, that part about making a fear list...well said. Live life intrepid!
Agree. Write a fear list if you don't already have one.

Let's agree to disagree on this one William.
