Getting told no is how you learn to see your faults. People who don't get rejected slowly become stupider.

18. You won't be remembered after you die. So quit building a legacy and start living all out.

This is it Tim. The best brings out the life energy that stokes it all.

If you live this way, you live into your destiny, a day at a time. In fact you’re living into your destiny one day at a time anyway, so why not make it the destiny that is the result of living all out? What then might be possible?

Tell me which of these 18 ideas you loved the most and why in the comments.

19. Throw-away 99% of what you know about yourself including these 18 ideas. It is not what you know, 99% fo the time, that matters in life. It is what you do not know that will make 99% of the difference in your life moving forward.

Why: Because if you do not follow the 19th rule of living ~ you, will never truly know how to bring life into existence.

Understanding human psychology is the #1 aspiration for me. Otherwise I don’t know how to grow my Substack publication.

"They were all in - not half pregnant" - LOVED THIS!! (being a doctor and all). I snorted while laughing because it resonates and your message hits home.

"None of them had this mediocre, softcore approach to their goal".

Number #5 resonates the most. As a husband and a father (I know you are too Tim) having more time with my family is gold.

Absolutely 💯 love your newsletter. You say it exactly how it is. You really love doing this. I like your uniqueness of standing out of the crowd. Definitely resonates with me. I've been told I'm weird, which is true. Have a fabulous day Mr Denning.

I've always said solopreneurship is self-improvement on steroids. Either you get better, or your business gets better. If you're not doing either, you're losing

8. Your job in life is to stand out in all your weirdness, not fit in. and 18. You won't be remembered after you die. So quit building a legacy and start living all out. #8 because I've been trying to fit in all my life. I only find that my confidence has been eroded over time. I'm changing focus to standing out and accepting my weirdness. #18 because I realize I may be missing the here and now. I am awakening to the adventure of the now. Thank You for these signposts.

#8 is the best advice. Be yourself. That may or may not be "weird." I think most of us would be surprised to find how much better we actually "fit in" if we shared more honestly.

For me it's #2 and #7. I'm so glad I finally started my side hustle last year. My only regret - not starting sooner - or I should say, not finding the RIGHT side hustle for me sooner. I tried lots of things that failed. But I guess it all led me to writing about my farm and helping other farmers learn to market themselves online. And #7-🤯. Still trying to adapt this since in the US "hustle culture" is still alive and well, especially on most social platforms where I hang out - LinkedIn, YouTube etc. But yeah, the older I get, the more I just crave rest and time to do whatever the hell I want. Looking forward to your Substack challenge next month - let's go!

Live Out Loud and Be Weird as You Do It: I 100% agree with Tim. One thing that reoriented my life once I got laid off from my media job and went on my own was Leo Tolstoy's book, "The Kingdom of God Lives Within You." Tolstoy argues you have a purpose in life you must honor, because when you do you're not only honoring your own calling but the divine.
