Tim, the point about hope resonated. A friend was trading a stock last week. The stock is about to be de-listed from the NASDAQ. It's serious sh!t, you probably can't make money on it unless you short it (my friend was long). He was down 50% and asking me what he should do. "Dump it," I said. It was painful but he did it. By the time the US markets opened, it tanked another 20%. My message to the friend: Hoping isn't investing.

I totally agree Denis

A guy I follow for years on YouTube - Steven Mark Ryan always says:

"Hope is not a strategy"

Tie on #11 and #12 - 2 hours to begin every day on my dream, and 4 hours on 3-5 days / week of deep work. Both should keep me motivated and accomplishing more, for more rewards and better free time.

I am a fan of Elon Musk, not for the political stuff but all the other stuff.

I believe if you showed him the list he would probably agree with all these points.

He is probably practicing most or them, if not all.

I like plays on words so this one is for #2:

"A phone is a mobile device - only use it when you are mobile".

Love your work but this post is 90% bullsh*t. Is it meant to be ironic?

This one was particularly helpful. I've learned to work on the weekends and embrace the chaos of my life. I'll be bookmarking this for daily reference.

It's also nice to see I'm not the only one trying to be insane.

Love this post, Tim! I've always been an advocate of spreading work over the full week, implementing a bias for speed, and seeking the elusive flow state. Luckily, you offer plenty more to work on.
