WOW…what a powerful story. I'm sorry about your surgery, but you got the opportunity to fight it. This was VERY inspirational. I will not forget this moment. You're giving so much of yourself. That's why you are being given more and more opportunities. Again, thank you, and stay strong.
Thanks for the kick, hopefully I can finally sort out my life. I actually started doing a bit of teases😂😂😂 like visiting turbines on private property last week, horse riding and taking pictures of snakes in this beautiful town that I'm trying to heal from unresolved traumas. This place is an absolute Gem. I met a nice couple last month looking for property to buy and I was yapping on and on about this Gem of a place. Guess what, the property is sold. I saw the sold sign when I went out this morning. Which means I haven't lost my sales touch. I bet you it's that couple.
Your essay suggests that we are somehow influenced by a shadowy past. In that context, I have deepened my relationship with psychotherapy, which plays a crucial role in my process of mental erasure. You might ask, why am I talking of psychotherapy? I am talking about training our minds for the present.
In the ideal world, the individual I am now is fully engaged in a present life that is no longer overshadowed by the past. We have to begin to take on new roles that enable us to make different choices. Instead, my poor choices continue to exude vitality and consciously shape my identity. The good news is that my past experiences no longer have my consent to define me.
You, Tim, have gained greater courage now and from experience, which is exactly what is needed to stand up, speak up and listen.
I adore the poem 'If' by Rudyard Kipling: (...look at the things you gave your broken life,
And build ’em up and build with antiquated tools;
If you can make a lump sum of all your earnings
And risk it on a tar turn,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings...)
I have seen people, more courageous after the war that destroyed their efforts and them was more creative again more powerful, I saw this example in Kosovo when I was on vacation in this resort. which was one of their efforts:
This is inspiring, Tim. I don't remember this kind of moments in my life. But I know we should fight for our dreams. Showing up, iterating, moving toward your goal no matter what, that's the mindset. If it requires that you walk on coals, so be it.
Mental health isn't manageable, but drive puts it aside. Everything will feel like you're in the fringes. The results could be something tangible or it could be something you benefit from.
All the best for your forthcoming surgery Tim and I hope the conclusions are positive. Usually if the medical team is prepared to operate then there is a good chance of total recovery. Ultimately the most important thing we have is life, may yours be long and happy :)

Lose yourself in the moment you own it you gotta never let it go...
You deserve all of the success you're getting Tim. Inspiring as usual.

Thank you!
Truly sorry about your surgery though, by the looks of it I just know you will come out stronger than ever. Good luck.
Thanks for the kick in the butt I needed to move past self-doubt. I hope your recovery from surgery and results turn out better and better.
I don't get you most of the time Spicy Tim, but this piece of writing makes more than just sense.
Thank you for writing it and sharing all the background stuff leading up to that one moment.
Thanks Tim 🙏 💕
Your willingness to share so vulnerably and shine the light on the path to a life of our dreams is changing our lives.
Cheers to taking ACTION instead of just dreaming about the life we want. 🔥🎉
