Hi, Jack via Tim. I've been a generalist all my life: amateur astronomer, ESL instructor and tutor, computer systems trainer, course curriculum and lesson writer, fiction and non-fiction editor, special needs student tutor, house cleaner, professional organizer. I keep learning new skills in each to keep my "value" high.

Well written and very thought provoking. I have been trying to tell myself some of these things. For starters, it's okay to have a curious mind, its okay to pursue almost all the subjects that piques your interest.

It might seem difficult at first, but what makes it interesting is if you have fun doing it. The important message here is to make sure you're doing what you love. Any skill is learnable.
